Greetings and welcome back to The Blog!
This week we give you our perspective on some of the best eateries in Lake Arrowhead. Some of the locations listed are off the beaten path. If you know where to look you’re sure to encounter a wealth of social activities and great spots to pass time with friends, family, and loved ones.
Here is a list of a few of our favorite restaurants in no particular order:
- Lou Eddies Pizza has more than 400 – 5 star reviews on yelp. They also received national recognition; recently making a list of the top 100 restaurants in the United States. Lou Eddies is an excellent stop for visitors and locals. Be sure to check out their microbrewery, where there is live music every Monday and Tuesday night. We highly recommend adding this pizzeria to your itinerary.
- The Grill at Antlers Inn is a historic location that retains the charm of early Lake Arrowhead. The menu is very diverse; with appetizers such as calamari, and entrees including filet mignon, rib eye, venison and fresh sea bass. On the second floor is a sushi bar, which is open certain days of the week. The interior has been noted for its ambiance, it has the look and feel of an old time hunter’s lodge. Dinner for two? Antlers Inn is an excellent choice!
- Stone Creek Bistro is an upscale restaurant located in Agua Fria. Their menu is American/French cuisine and has everything you would expect from a full service bistro. There is a wide selection of wines, and much of their menu is made with local ingredients. Some fine dishes include Roast Duck, Wild Salmon, Short Rib Pappardelle, and specialty appetizers include Steamed Mussels and Duck Fat Fries. This is one location you won’t want to pass up!
- Diane’s Saddle Back Grille first opened in 1919 as an inn and restaurant. With a selection of specialty cocktails and wines this is a great happy hour venue. Thursday is karaoke night, which is popular with the local crowd. Some noteworthy menu items include Pan Seared Calamari Steak Almondine, Chicken Oscar, and Pan Seared Sole. The location is ideal for those who want to stay near Lake Arrowhead Village.
We hope this will give you some idea of what to expect. This is certainly not a complete list, and is intended to give visitors and locals new to Lake Arrowhead some options for consideration. We plan to cover more restaurants in the future; this is by no means a complete list.
If you have any questions or feel we left some out, please let us know in the comment section!
